The wedding venues and the blocked hotels are located in Troutdale, just northeast of Portland (about a 15-minute drive from downtown Portland). See the Itinerary for more information about these locations and event transportation.
By air
Portland International Airport (PDX) is an easy 20 minute ride by car to and from the wedding venue and hotels. Many major airlines fly to PDX, and the airport features a famous carpet. If you want to talk about this carpet, Justin is a better option than Charlotte.
By train
If you are already on the west coast, Amtrak provides service to Portland Union Station.
By car
Renting a car is not necessary for getting around Portland or getting to the wedding, but is recommended if you plan to explore some of the surrounding nature. Car rentals are available at PDX and around Portland. Parking will be available at the reception venue and the nearby hotels.
By TriMet (public transportation)
Portland is increasingly accessible by TriMet public transportation! Buses, Portland Streetcar, and MAX Light Rail connect much of the city. The wedding venues are not on MAX or Streetcar, so plan to take a cab or bus to finish your trip.
By cab
Portland and Troutdale have Uber and Lyft. Here are a few additional car service options: Portland Taxi Cab Co. (503-256-5400), Radio Cab (503-227-1212), and Broadway Cab (503-333-3333).
By bike
If you plan to spend time in Portland, there’s now a bike share program called BIKETOWN. This is similar to Citi Bike or Capital Bikeshare. This does not extend to Troutdale. Other shops and companies offer longer bike rentals.
